Kotoba of the day: 17
散歩(vs) - さんぽ - sanpo - To stroll
Category(new): Simple verbs
Sample sentence:
Kanji | 公園を散歩して来ます。 |
Kana | こうえんを さんぽ して きます。 |
Romaji | kouen o sanpo shite kimasu. |
Read as | ko-u-e-n o sa-n-po shi-te ki-ma-su. |
Malayalam | പാര്ക്കില് നടന്നിട്ട് വരാം. |
English | [I am] going to the park for a walk. |
Note : Note the particle 'O'.
We might think that the correct usage is 'kouen ni sanpo shimasu', as we say in malayalam. But for some special verbs(which involves motion) like sanpo suru, tobu(fly) etc, usage of particle 'O' is correct.
Consider these as special cases.
