Sanpo - To stroll

Kotoba of the day: 17

散歩(vs) - さんぽ - sanpo - To stroll

Category(new): Simple verbs

Sample sentence:

Kanji

公園散歩して来ます。

Kana

こうえん さんぽ して きます。

Romaji

kouen o sanpo shite kimasu.

Read as

ko-u-e-n o sa-n-po shi-te ki-ma-su.

Malayalam

പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ നടന്നിട്ട് വരാം.

English

[I am] going to the park for a walk.

Note : Note the particle 'O'.

We might think that the correct usage is 'kouen ni sanpo shimasu', as we say in malayalam. But for some special verbs(which involves motion) like sanpo suru, tobu(fly) etc, usage of particle 'O' is correct.

Consider these as special cases.
