A Japanese word a day

Many of us Japanese language enthusiasts of varied levels are introduced a word a day (Kotoba Of the Day -KOD) along with a sentence which helps you to know the usage of the word along the lines of the saying "Slow and steady wins the race / പയ്യെത്തിന്നാല് പനയും തിന്നാം".

The KOD started two years ago, thanks to Dhanan Sekhar’s initiatives, which had set the stage for such a learning.
Right now KOD reaches you in the mail form. Why not make it a little more interactive, was what we have been thinking for a while. And now that’s finally happened!!!

This blog has been started so that you could get to see KODs, Archives and related material. And well, being a blog, you have the distinct advantages of interactive-ness; posting and receiving comments to queries you may have etc. Kindly make the maximum use of it thereby helping you to up your language levels.

For continuous improvement of these initiatives, your feedback is very valuable to us. Please feel free to let us know of your comments and suggestions regarding this blog and its activities.

Look forward to your cooperation.
